Powering Reliable Wireless Connectivity for Automated Warehouses
The Challenge
Movu Robotics, part of the Stow Group, designs and develops advanced warehouse automation solutions. Together with Stow Racking, a global leader in racking and multi-level storage systems, they provide customers with a unique offering, seamless end-to-end warehouse and automation solutions from a single source.

In the early stages of their development, the Movu R&D team faced a critical challenge. Reliable wireless communication for the Atlas 1D shuttle was essential to ensure that autonomous vehicles could operate efficiently in dynamic warehouse environments. To address this challenge, Movu Robotics sought a trusted partner with proven expertise in wireless networks.

The Solution
Tesla Networks stepped in as a trusted partner, delivering a tailor-made antenna solution. This antenna was not only perfectly suited for the Atlas 1D but also provided connectivity for the follow-up models, Movu iFollow and Movu Escala.
As technology advanced and Movu Robotics successfully developed their Atlas 2D systems, communication requirements evolved. Together, Movu Robotics and Tesla Networks created a new custom antenna with future-ready capabilities for warehouse automation, housed in an ultra low-profile design.
More recently, Tesla Networks was also asked to advise on and supply the antenna cabling for the Movu Atlas 2D’ wiring harness.
The Impact
The collaboration has had a transformative effect on Movu Robotics’ operations. With a reliable, high-performance development in place, Movu Robotics can operate with maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Clients are ready for future wireless technology applications in their warehouses and have fewer maintenance concerns, as the ultra low-profile antennas are less vulnerable to collisions.
This partnership demonstrates that strategic collaboration between technology and network specialists is key to sustainable and innovative solutions in warehouse automation.
